Pelican Rock
This is the best place to snorkel in Cabo. The area around the rock is a natural aquarium and is part of the National Marine Cabo Bay Park. Here you will get the opportunity to snorkel with a vast array of tropical fish.
Lovers Beach
This snorkeler’s haven is only accessible by water taxi. Bring a picnic and spend an enjoyable and relaxing day. In the winter months, the sea lions make their home here and watching them in their natural habitat is a fun activity that everyone can enjoy.
Cabo Pulmo
Also considered one of the best snorkeling sites in the area, Cabo Pulmo features the only living coral reef in the northernmost eastern Pacific region. The area is protected by the government and the locals so that its rare beauty can be enjoyed for years to come. The marine life is stunning and is further enhanced by the clear visibility of the ocean. Mermaid’s Beach in Cabo Pulmo has been nicknamed dinosaur egg beach because of the many egg shaped boulders in the area.
Santa Maria Cove
The calm blue waters in Santa Maria Cove is a huge draw to the snorkeler. From 20 to 60 ft in depth, it is easy to spot the plentiful fish and eels that reside here.
