One of the most incredible experiences a deep sea fisherman can have is spending hours aboard a boat in the middle of the Pacific, using and 80lb, 500 yards line to reel in a beautiful five foot Cabo marlin.
Cabo has year-round fishing seasons which include striped, black and blue marlin, one of the most highly prized deep sea trophies. Because of its location on the Pacific, there is an abundance of marlin in Cabo and has earned the title “Marlin Capital of the World.”
Once you bag yourself a beautiful Cabo marlin, you can often have the meat cooked for you on the dock and there is very little that tastes better than a fresh catch after a long day at sea.
Many fisherman will also have their trophies mounted so they can proudly display their beautiful Cabo marlin.
