Most of the “duty-free” stores in Los Cabos are located at the Los Cabos International Airport (SJD). However, there are also duty-free stores in Cabo San Lucas and downtown San Jose del Cabo.
Duty Free Shopping Rules
The U.S. Customs Service currently permits U.S. citizens returning from
international travel to bring back $800 worth of merchandise, including 1 liter of alcohol, duty-free. Additional amounts are subject to
applicable duty fees.
The Canadian Customs Service permits residents to return with $750 worth of merchandise including 200 Cigarettes and 50 Cigars and 200g of Tobacco, 1.14 litres of liquor or 1.5 litres of wine.

There are many duty free stores in the Los Cabos International airport, however you may find that the prices are more expensive than the stores in town.
